I mainly switch between PC and PlayStation, with a Switch Lite on the go. It is not that rare if I look around me.

The Spanish won’t mind you saying that, they are busy napping.

I mean it is warmer in some other countries, but with our humidity it just feels worse, ya know?

It would really help the adoption of Lemmy if we get a ‘multisub’-idea, that Reddit uses, where a user could bind multiple instances’ communities together, and make it appear as one community.

(So I can bind all similar instances into one).

Regardless, I won’t be going back to Reddit. If I stick around Lemmy, that’s kind of up to how I enjoy this platform & usability, but I can be quite stubborn with my ‘morals’. Once a platform is done for me, it is done lmao.

I can kinda get all that, but what I’m missing is the role of your history in this question. (I assume that this is about saving your own posts).

Keeping the account for occasional use & maybe putting a sticked post in your post history with links to your new account on a different platform, I can kind of understand. But the way I see saving my own history, it’d be about reading back my own posts, which don’t really serve me a function on a different platform.

Honest question, because I saw a lot of people on Reddit worrying about this as well: what is the fear about losing your history? Maybe your usecase is different from mine, but I don’t mind if I lose my history at all. (Hence the question)
