If I remember correctly in the first drafts they used the brain for computational power but went for the battery idea because it was, for a then tech illiterate audience, easier to understand.
Account creation.
The things that always works for me is stop trying and just working towards being a person I would want to have in my life.
At some point you will find yourself in a relationship without really knowing how it happened.
Love that one too. What do you (or anybody with a theory or the answer) think is the meaning of the ending?
First rule is, I can’t talk about it. Second rule is, I can’t talk about it.
I have lost count of how many times I watched that movie. So many great details.
And I think most people take away the wrong message. It is critic and not encouragement.
That may be but it is the best course of action to have it free for people to use and if you get to a certain size you have to pay for that shit. That is just fair.
Like pirating music and games when you are poor and then buy those things at a later date when you got the means for it.
Giving a company like Amazon who forbids their employees to piss crucial infrastructure for free ist just a slap in the face of decency.
I think there has to be a change in philosophy. It is free as long as you can’t afford it. But as soon as you can afford it you have to pay. And if your company uses it to operate and generate money then the project has a right to an percentage of that money.

I think the problem with Lemmy is that people assume Lemmy is reddit instead of one lemmy-instance is reddit.
So people attribute a culture to the whole of Lemmy instead of an instance.
People should focus more on one instance and grow a culture. It will automatically attract more of that type of person.
Just try to interact with people because it is fun or you have something to share that you are passionate about. As my doctor said: “Don’t force that shit.”.
And most important is that people stop talking about content like it is heroin. It is becoming pathetic.
I bet their are a bunch of people here on Lemmy from before the reddit exodus that vomited reading that post.
First time I feel like being part of the locust.
PC. Don’t have to pay for online play, games are cheaper, I can mod and I can emulate older games.
