Louis CK, the only man in the world funny enough to un-cancel himself
I have a chance to see Randy Feltface live in December but may have to go by myself since my one standup buddy said he “can’t do puppets” lol. I mean I get the puppet hate but this isn’t like Jeff Dunham, Randy is actually legitimately funny to the point that you kinda forget you’re looking at a puppet.
also agreed on Mitch, RIP.
Craig Ferguson is probably my number one though. His specials aren’t even that great but the three times I’ve seen him live have been hysterical, and his Late Late Show was legendary imo, such a quick witted mind for improv.
Just did Long’s this past week for the 2nd time, my wife had to get revenge on this mountain after getting psyched out on the trough 13 years ago. absolute pain in the ass of a mountain but a beautiful experience at the same time… we call it “type 2 fun”, meaning you might not enjoy it while you’re doing it but you’re glad you did it once it’s over.
Groove Salad ftw
Is capitalism dying or will it just get more and more ruthless until like 10 people have 99.999% of the wealth? Is there a difference? Either way it seems like humanity will have to make a choice soon whether we want to keep propping up a system that has fundamentally failed them.

Decentralized localization of every possible energy generation system (renewables but if we’re dreaming here then the supposedly suppressed Zero Point / radiant / overunity energy systems). Post scarcity abundance levels of all essential items, but mainly food, again through the localized means of production with vertical farm towers if space is a constraint. Free travel to anywhere on the planet and beyond using suppressed anti gravity electrogravitic technology (you said I could dream). Free access to every form of media ever made and knowledge formerly sequestered behind paywalls or otherwise suppressed, and a free and open forum to discuss these things.
But most importantly a new way of thinking that is cooperation based instead of competition based, and a new economic system that renders the profit motive obsolete and money itself much less of a controlling factor in peoples lives (such as a resource based economy like The Venus Project)
I prefer my ambient to have a psychedelic aspect to it instead of just pure drone, so probably my favorite ambient artist is Ishq, namely his albums Orchid, Sama, And Awake, Bloom, and Lotus. Sinepearl and Chandanam are also artists that have a similar sound to Ishq. also check out Woob’s Repurpose album
getting into more of the psybient/psychill genre than pure ambient, mostly everything on Ultimae Records is gold imo (Solar Fields, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Cell, H.U.V.A. Network, Sync24, etc.)
almost exclusively electronic music, just can’t seem to get enough of it. (ambient, downtempo, drum & bass, dub, electro, glitch, goa trance, house, idm, psybass, psychill, psytrance, synthwave, techno). I’d be happy to try to give recommendations of any of these if you ask.
also love funk like Parliament/Funkadelic and some electronic focused jambands like STS9 & Lotus
got any electro recommendations? I love MetaComplex, Morphology, Microlith, Plant43, E.R.P., Shinra, Reedale Rise, etc.
anything you recommend? looking for more artists like those on Naked Music Recordings (Blue Six, Miguel Migs, Lisa Shaw, Aya, etc.)
Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
Sorry yall downvote away but I gotta bring up covid in this context. oh yeah sure, after decades of not giving two shits about us suddenly the government is concerned for our health and safety? No one else found that to be immediately sus as hell?
Actual psychopaths have brains that are wired differently than normal people, they are literally not capable of feeling empathy or are able to feel the pain they caused that allowed them to amass their fortune. So yeah in a way I think that makes them less than human.
I try to see as much live music as possible (within the genres that I at least somewhat like). There’s something about being just another face in the crowd dancing to the music that makes me feel like I’m a part of something greater than myself. Everyone there at least has the common ground of liking the music regardless of their political stance, sexual preference, etc.
