This might be hard to believe for those who say that, but I still email my friends. I’m 30 years old, decided to let go of all social media, and other friends enjoy sitting to focus for a few minutes and write something thoughtful. Depending on the country you live in, most communication with authorities or services will be via email.

To me, having worked as a developer for some years now, it means “don’t got no time to look into your codes, so here’s a stamp of approval to send you along your way, knowing too well that you expected me to look into your code but I didn’t”

My point being, if you want to say you read all the code and it’s fine, maybe refrain from using “LGTM”, which is the universal sign of malicious compliance/not caring.

I use adblocking either through Chrome extentions or by using Brave Browser. I don’t feel good about not supporting some websites, but ads have become extremely intrusive and excessive. It’s not my fault that ads try to finger my brain at every chance whenever I am on the internet. I do it for my own peace of mind.
