I really wish we had a service like this on Europe.
I know they ship to Europe. But shipping costs are prohibitive for small buys.

I’m Spanish. And really, that judge is just in the pocket of the spanish media corporations. Telegram is used by 8 million spanish users daily for lots of different things.
Recently the UE forced WhatsApp to open a protocol so it can be compatible precisely with Telegram to avoid a monopoly.
If telegram elevates to the european court due to abuse of the spanish authorities they should win.
Renaming the files wont change the filetype.
Also the images won’t loose quality for looking at them, opening or moving them. Only if you reapply the jpg compressing algorithm over them.
Debian.
Stable, well documented, easy to install. I do not need anything else right now.
I use Spanish QWERTY layout and it’s… weird for coding.
I’m used to it from my whole life so that’s what I use but sometimes brackets or special symbols are weird.
I’ve always wanted to change to use US-International layout. So I can keep ñ and áéíóú, and also have easy access to coding symbols. But I have never got around it.
Anyhow I still think that whoever designed ISO layouts messed up. We should use US international layout. That’s my two cents.
I dont think I’ve ever click on an ad on purpose. I’ve clicked for mistake I closed right away. Never ever bought anything from an ad.
Here in spain conservative parents take their children to religious schools which already have mandatory school uniform. So it’s not in their agenda to push it to non-religious schools.
It should be notes that these religious schools are public founded. Which is another topic by itself, but you should know that we already have public funded schools with mandatory uniform.
Don’t kink shame. It’s their kink and we have to respect it. They like it rough.
Same here.
Still on liftoff. Works good enough for now though it’s true ghat updates are scarce right now.
I genuinely tried to look for a legit way to make it an option for paying in a small online store without having to depend on paypal or a bank gateway.
Well transaction fees for any big coin are like many dollars per transaction. It’s ridiculous. For smaller transaction fees you have to go to smaller coins that can disappear or lose half their value one day to the next.
And still, if we forget thar people wouls need to pay like a 14€ fee for 1€ transaction. They still have to go to a exange to change their money, and then I have to change it back, because very little things can be bought with crypto, less with cryptos that doesn’t have ridiculous transaction fees.
Did I mention than transaction are not instantaneous either? Unless you pay big transaction fee or use some obscure coin that no one uses.
At the end, I ended up with paypal. I really wanted a way to be “independent” of big companies for transaction. But crypto is completely ruined (if it was ever functional that I doubt it). It’s not a coin, they are just speculation and bets. With cybercrime and drug dealing being the only “real” uses it has.
I would love to end reddit boicot.
But the reddit app font is just to tiny for me use, and you can’t change it without changing your whole phone font. I tried red reader but it is so ugly I can’t use it.
So here I am, still boicoting reddit. I suppose it’s not even a boicot anymore. I just don’t like the product anymore.
I don’t think I have downvoted anyone in Lemmy yet.
But post and comment quality is much higher than Reddit.
Called out on a guy that was faking being Ukrainian for getting a free card making xenofóbic comments and denying the Armenian genocide (he was indeed from Turkey). I presented prove and evidences that he changed his flair from Turkish to Ukrainian and stated saying in every post that he was Ukrainian just after the Russian invasion, and that he was doing it to get more attention from people while he went full on denying any crime done in the present or the past by Turkey/Ottomans.
Somehow I ended up banned and he did not. r/Europe in a nutshell. I never step a foot in that subreddit after that.
If a few months when hard monetization measures take place more people will move.
Reddit wants to close 3rd party apps because they get in the way of their monetization program.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we start seeing “paid only” posts over reddit, like in quora.
More things used to be free on internet 10-20 years ago.
Also the rich used to be less rich, and the poor less poor.
So clearly paying overpriced services for everything is not making anything better.
