I am using Logseq and the organization is basically the only thing not working for me. I will try this out.

That’s it?
The USB-C power is huge. I don’t know why it is so hard to find. I do not want another massive power brick and barrel connector.
I am interested in solving them. Here’s how: if you get any phone call that makes you even the slightest bit irritated, you hit a button and receive a quarter paid by the caller. This is traced through carriers. If the trace cannot continue for any reason or exits US jurisdiction, the most recent carrier foots the bill. I guarantee that spam calls will suddenly cease to exist overnight.
Both phone calls and emails are so full of ad-ridden garbage that they are useless for communication.
Texts are better signal-to-noise ratio, for me it is more like only 1% con artist identity thieves compared to the 99% coming via phone call.
I would get banned from their instance for saying I approve of people physically fighting Nazis. It would be nice to have more people to fill out niche communities though.
That is incredible tech. And now they’re backlit and in color? Amazing. The only thing holding me back is shitty software and DRM. If there was a color eReader I could run something like Alpine on I would get one instantly. Instead it is often some proprietary shovelware begging to subscribe to their proprietary cloud service.
That’s relatable. I get plenty of downtime during the day but not in long enough stretches to focus on something like that. Society is upside-down. We should be working far fewer hours and spending more time doing hobbies.
It is compiled with LLVM and Clang. Where is the danger of losing cross-platform compatibility? It will be fine.
That same page lists cross-platform CLI and server as intended use cases.
That local politician sounds like an interesting character. I love that response instead of just trying to talk their way around it. I can see why that would inspire a story.
Did you happen to publish that in some format? It sounds like a good read.
I’ve been thinking of a similar thing, delegating votes to people you trust. Delegation should be transitive, of course. I think it would also be neat to delegate by category or topic.
I also like the idea of being active with it. I like to imagine someone needs to maintain a certain approval level or be removed, so people have recourse to act if they aren’t being listened to.
You’ll be saving lives, yeah, but between dealing with entitled assholes that won’t follow directions and then yell at you because they didn’t.
It’s maybe easy to burn out in any career. Society has deprioritized individual fulfillment for most of us because it harms the nesting levels of billionaires’ yachts.
I wish they would apply that standard universally.
You will 100% not profit from a timeshare.
I would use Gitlab only in an airgapped network. Password resets sent to attacker-supplied emails is such a complete failure of a security model it seems like it is only a matter of time until the next critical vulnerability.
That’s disappointing. They are pretty consistently choosing the wrong thing. I don’t think they know what they’re doing.
Unicorn killer does sound great for testing. If they wrote tests around anything I’d be surprised, though. LOL.
If you don’t need all the user management and whatever else it definitely doesn’t make sense to run their junk.
Could be! But that doesn’t excuse a massive security failure like sending password reset emails to attacker-supplied addresses. I am pretty sure they have had other large failures.
They are writing code with zero/negative regard for security and that makes me want to use any alternative FOSS git host.
If such a thing existed, the price would have to be completely insane to keep me away.
But that is literally why we have many of the definitions accepted as standard today.
