In keeping an eye on it. I use a rinky dink asustor solution for my photo storage and backups. It’s cludgy as all heck.

Usual precautions apply, the app does not bury the lede:
The project is under very active development. Expect bugs and changes. Do not use it as the only way to store your photos and videos!
That’s it. Half the benefit of Plex is that my library is easily accessible on my mobile and downloadable, but Plex chose a very weird Plexamp UX for downloaded content. Instead of using the tried and true music UX, they chose a fricking list that isn’t indexed. I don’t want to use different programs or systems for the very standard ways people listen to music.
I love Plex, but Plexamp leaves a lot to be desired. In my use case, especially for folks with bad mobile service and/or spotty wifi or folks who don’t want to be hitting their servers as frequently. I just want a good UX for downloaded music off my server.
Yeah I saw that you can block those in settings. I pointed out how that just presents a whack-a-mole scenario where the user has to keep at it instead of striking at the TLD.
In my view that isn’t favorable. It is perhaps real, but it still doesn’t sit well as we know where it likely leads.
When you get most of your funding from Google, you might start to act like Google.
That’s snake oil peddler Gwyneth Paltrow if I recall
Hard to tell, but an ISA certified arborist will tell you straight. If in the states, you can look that up or contact your local state or university extension office for reputable certified arborists.
I have a coworker who took this approach and hasn’t lived in their house for over a year now waiting for the roof and structural aspects to be repaired.
Yes, pools filled with margaritas.
My company set up two factor for office 365. The type of verification used is the outlook app where you tap on something to gain access. I must have been one of the first to be required to change my password on the stupid 90 day schedule. After changing my 365 account pw I was locked out because I had to log in to the Outlook app and use the outlook app for verification, which didn’t work due to the need to be logged in. You can’t make this shit up.
Photoshop neural filters might help out there. There are quite a few options in that set.
I suggest becoming informed and read about other economic systems yourself. There is a bit of ad hominem in your question. For many the materialist concerns of the current dominant economic system is why people complain. Those complaining aren’t the cause and should not be rebuked. The rich are getting richer and the poor; poorer. The chasm between the two only grows wider.
That said, many folks on the political spectrum would at least like to see the US end of neoliberal capitalism and a return to Kantian/welfare economic capitalism. You see flavors of this in European Democratic socialist countries, albeit even those are succumbing to neoliberalisation.
If you get into rights based discussion, many in that spectrum and further left would like to see positive rights enshirined constitutionally as well as the ERA. This would bring about many of those kantian economic mechanisms by default.
For many more on the left, we literally want to seize the means of production and distribute wealth equally among the masses. Bring about socialism to progress to communism. The DSA believes in a change and revolution from within, and have a national platform and a growing base. There are also the PSL, which demands a more revolutionary overthrow of capitalism into communism. Briefly put.

Yeah I’m no data retention expert but that is a huge risk.
