  • Me and some friends jumped into the new season of Fortnite zero build. Not too bad, even though I have the reflexes of a sloth.

Been playing more Space Haven since they put out a big update last week. I do enjoy the game, but the gameplay loop leaves a bit to be desired.

I restarted my Sims 4 playthrough, forgot who these other Sims are, and just started fresh with my own sim.

    Otherwise, standard mahjong games.

  • I’ve been playing around with Dyson Sphere Program a bit. It’s basically a factorio/crafting game based on creating a namesake Dyson Sphere.

I’m not the best with crafting games so ive been looking up some build guides and good god. Some people are nuts with these setups. It’s insanely efficient and mapped out.

I got sucked in last night and next thing I know it’s 1am and my “Hey nerd, you’re way past when you should’ve gone to sleep” notification went off. It’s really good.

  • You basically hit 3/4 of my list here.

    • Let’s Game it Out - Josh is a gaming goblin and i’m here for it.
    • RCE - He’s hit or miss since his popularity really spiked, but his Infra and Mini Metro/Highways playthroughs were always fun to watch
    • Summoning Salt - Great docu-style videos on speedruns. Shame his channel got hit for a 1-second clip of someone saying ‘fuck’.

I also enjoy Vinesauce and his gaming corruptions.

Insym is great as well for his horror-style longplays.

  • Light jumpscares, i’d say.

I’m a huge baby myself, when it comes to jumpscares. There’s an option called ‘creepy neighbor’ which disables the chance for a jumpscare if you alt-tab out and in.

There’s some other things in the same that might pop up on screen, like when you take damage from some events, and some sounds; but it’s all presented in a 1-bit pixel style, so it’s not as scary as it would look. The horror mainly comes from the Junji Ito/Lovecraft inspired art and story.

I’m super-excited for actual release, though.
