I’ll let them know that (in case it ever becomes relevant).
They are a wonderful partner and I would never leave them for something so minor. It’s just a thing I can’t quite wrap my head around - I’m sure I have things about myself that they don’t get either. It’s not a big deal to either of us.
Tried that many times (to no avail).
We are both university grads and know how math works. They just can’t get past the psychological barrier of “the bill will be higher when we check out”.
Can’t get my partner to do this. They are too worried about “saving money/we don’t need it (now)”. For heavens sake, I’m not saying buy a spare house; just pick up an extra tube of toothpaste!
Pretty sure FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation) is for deposits only, not debts. The politicians would never let their donors suffer.
Hugh government bail out (American here). Taxpayer gets stuck with the bill. Companies loose nothing (probably make even more than way).
MULE (c64) and Hack/Nethack (x86).
Actually, this is Clark County Indiana (not Nevada). But I’m sure there is plenty of corruption to go around.
And here is what you get: Former Clark County Sheriff Hit With More Fraud, Money Laundering Charges
Where’s Major Tom?
So you had Yahoo email too 😉
Not in 'merica it don’t!
So many people I’ve met don’t have a clue about critical thinking/reasoning.
In my US state, you can be fired for “no reason” also.
The US doesn’t have any real worker protections. And one political party in particular is trying their damnedest to remove the few we do.
Farming - family has been doing it for ~5 generations. I’d say we have put in about $10 M dollars over time (adjusted for inflation).
What’s that dear? It’s a way of life/occupation . . . are you sure? Seems like it must be a hobby given the return we’ve made on it over the years. Well, if you’re sure.
My wife said that farming is technically an occupation and not a hobby. I still have my doubts given how much we have thrown away on it over the years, but I don’t like to disagree with her (she’s usually right).
Shakes fist at TSA.
