Some also do have specific use cases where they work really well, like Tea Tree Oil for acne and nail fungus or Peppermint oil for nausea. Most of them don’t do anything though.

50GB for the simple dual layer discs. You can theoretically reach 100GB with triple layer disks. The largest BDRip I have is 90GB for the Super Mario Bros. Movie.
Edit: UHD Blu-ray only supports dual and triple layer disks, not quad. Quad layer discs do exist though, with up to 128GB of capacity.
Bread and beer. The reason that modern civilization exists. Of course, the modern versions are quite different from the ancient ones
That wild. I can’t even do 4 reps of 45kg barbell overhead press. Then again I am quite a small person. I only weigh 57kg.
It wasn’t even called JavaScript originally, it was called Mocha. It was then renamed to LiveScript before its original release. Then, Netscape wanted a licensing agreement with Sun to integrate Java into Navigator, and part of the agreement was to rename LiveScript to JavaScript with Sun holding the trademark for JavaScript. They also talked a lot about using JS to modify the properties and behaviors of Java applets in the 1995 press release, but that never really happened.
If you actually knew how to program both Java and JavaScript (originally called Mocha btw), you would know that they are very different languages. Saying that JS was intended to have a similar syntax to Java is like saying Java was intended to have a similar syntax to C. They’re both true, but it doesn’t really mean anything.
That software license is incredible
HDMI isn’t necessary for HDCP though. HDCP also works over DisplayPort and even DVI.
Edit: The HDMI article on Wikipedia that you linked even says:
The HDMI founders began development on HDMI 1.0 on April 16, 2002, with the goal of creating an AV connector that was backward-compatible with DVI. At the time, DVI-HDCP (DVI with HDCP) and DVI-HDTV (DVI-HDCP using the CEA-861-B video standard) were being used on HDTVs. HDMI 1.0 was designed to improve on DVI-HDTV by using a smaller connector and adding audio capability and enhanced Y′CBCR capability and consumer electronics control functions.
I prefer not feeling like shit for the rest of the day after I eat.
None. All of those are way too sugary
Realistically it should’ve been called “masala tea”, but oh well.
Bioasphalts can be made from all sorts of non-petroleun renewable resources, including food wastes and sewerage effluent: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bioasphalt
I think the main challenge now will be determining the ideal mix of ingredients that best suit the purpose of the asphalt.
Because centipedes vary a lot between species. The house centipede only has up to 15 pairs (30 legs): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scutigera_coleoptrata
Just one of those days.
We don’t know whether they evolved these chemicals to prevent being eaten by animals though. People have tested spicy (capsaicin based) foods with mice, and found that mice actually seemed to like or not really react to spicy foods. This means that capsaicin did not evolve to protect against rodents like initially thought.
In fact, we now know that capsaicin is a very powerful antifungal chemical. Chili peppers naturally grow in hot, humid environments where fungi thrive. There also aren’t many rodents in those areas. So the spiciness experienced by mammals like humans is just a side effect that didn’t really affect its evolution.
Isn’t mujdei not cooked though? It has a very strong garlic flavor. Cooking/roasting garlic really softens the flavor.
Nothing really. It’s just cetirizine, which is what Zyrtec is; it’s a very common antihistamine. There were probably a couple of depressed people in their trials that started thinking about suicide so that had to be listed as a side effect, even if it’s actually unrelated.
I say “zeesh”. Like “sheesh” with a z.
