Scissors also work as well if you’re really hellbent on separating them. And if the EU decides to ban Scissors you can use a Knife or glass.

I believe that tactic is called sealioning. It’s very common on Twitter actually.
That only exports settings and subscriptions, I think what they’re talking about is a solution that allows you to migrate everything including your ownership of the posts and comments that you made.
It’s definitely better than nothing but it’s probably not what they are looking for, hopefully we’ll get a true account migration system soon.
I’ve heard that it’s considered click fraud and that the advertisers sometimes Force the site to pay them back possibly a little bit extra as a fine.
Not too sure though. Personally I don’t really use it because the adblocking structure I have set up isn’t really compatible because it has multiple layers. I block the ads over the network through a network-wide firewall, I also block them through portmaster on my computer, and finally I have uBlock Origin in my browser. I also have adnauseam alongside of it and I turn off ublock origin for the sites that I want to autoclick ads on but almost none make it through the multilevel network filtering.
More specifically I would recommend adnauseam since it’s extra punishing to aggressive advertisers by clicking the ads automatically.
People have been asking me to join twitter for a while, back when twitter was a big thing. Most people back then did have twitter and did sign up and at least tweeted something before. People always thought it was strange that I’m not on there, I just didn’t really want to be there because it seemed really toxic there from what I’ve seen people say online and the screenshots that have been re-posted.
I would definitely recommend Mastodon though, it seems really cool from being there, not like the twitter I’ve heard about at all.
How do you know those cables don’t have the retaining clips removed to make them easier to pull out? If that’s the case all you need to do is pull them.
Never had Twitter (I know blasphemy) but I recently joined Mastodon and it’s seems pretty cool, I’m not really into the whole Twitter style thing though, I’m more of a Forum person myself than a Twitter person.
I’m not really sure either, I think it’s either trying to say that furries and/or femboys are neo-nazis or that most neo-nazis are closeted femboys and/or furries.
Can’t forget about those old soviet flats, tough they’re probably more like the Hollywood version than not on the count of maybe having issues with the lights/power.
There’s a third example missing from here because there are also quite a few hacker furries.
They’re also super comfy so it’s a win-win.
Yeah it wasn’t made for disagreement, it was meant for a crowd control form of moderation. That’s why they had the karma index and allow for subreddits to impose karma restrictions. (I guess there could be an argument about it being a form of social credit system if it were, which let’s be honest it became that anyway, whether or not it was intended to be that way from the beginning)
Ah I see thank you for telling me. I just tried it and it seems to work, though it is a bit finicky (gives random 502 errors) but that’s to be expected from alpha software. Hopefully this will get better in the future.
Probably due to not being compatible with Microblogging/Profile posts. If they added that feature they could probably make mastodon stuff work.
It’s a fork that aims to add support to Infinity for a bunch of other platforms, among those kbin and lemmy. It’ll also let you use Reddit but that’ll be much more limited than before since you need to provide your own API keys and you won’t be able to access NSFW.
I wasn’t able to view Lemmy content (actually any content) on the build I downloaded. How did you view them on yours?
It’s still in Alpha, you can still try it out but I warn you it’s very very buggy at the moment. It does have a lot of potential though, hopefully it’ll get better as time goes on.
People will deny this but this is the only real reason for doing that. The other reason is copying apple, which isn’t really another reason as apple removed it for the first reason. Fairphone just went the extra mile to claim that headphones are wasteful, in essence they’re making an excuse to cover up their reason why and also trying to force others to do it as well.
