I won’t be able to check this out. Would it be too much to ask someone to share if there’s any updates/info about Ghost Recon games? Thank you!

This is exactly why bkth Skyrim and Witcher 3 didn’t appeal to me. Idk, maybe I just like guns in games or the medieval era isn’t my cup of tea.
Diablo 4
Me: what? Who doesn’t like Diablo? I love the grind, the builds, classes, etc. What’s this dude getting at?
Because Blizzard
Me: ooohhh yeah. That’s more than enough reason.
I used power delete and it sent me a backup. Idk what to do with it yet.
Let’s put it this way:
Spez, reddit’s ceo, used to mod r/jailbait. Did it matter to the users? It didn’t. Why should this be any different?
Also, this is a public platform as much as reddit is. Reddit’s TOS is horrible and yet people stayed. Lemmy is not worse than reddit in terms of privacy. I had to use a script/program before deleting my reddit accounts because reddit won’t delete what’s in there.
I just don’t understand why they (or just spez?) are/is intent on badmouthing the Apollo dev.
An app would be very helpful to get more people on kbin.
This is the first time I’ve tried scripts/programs like this. Am I doing this right? I still have my main account left. Just one more to go.
lmao. I feel attacked but this is so true.
I don’t see a lot of difference in terms of effort in searching for communities between here and reddit. I’m on Jerboa and I tried searching “technology” and “science.” The communities with the same and similar names popped up. That’s how I did it when I first got here and that’s how I do it in reddit. If I wanted to, say, join an anime sub all I have to do is search (for example) anime then tap the sub I want to join if there is more than one. There’s a huge subscribe button there (I just tried it since I’m not subbed to that yet).
I have’t come across crazy mods/admins yet so I can’t comment on that. Which subs have them?
Edit: I think the main problem is with the browse.feddit.de and that’s what you’re referring to? Yeah, that can be a challenge (I don’t think Jerboa supports it yet), but it’s easy when you’ve done a couple.
I agree with this. I’m not worried about that fracturing because it’s also pretty common on reddit. IE: the r/nba sub alone has more than a couple of spin-off subs.
Been here 6 days and here are some of my thoughts:
Pros:
Cons:
Is it a reddit replacement? No. Reddit is too big and established (and mainstream) to be replaced in such a short period. But imho lemmy is a great alternative. Like I’ve mentioned before, just participating here has drastically lessened my reddit usage. It can get better. I’m excited to see there it goes.
Edit: sorry for all the typos. I’m new at using flosiboard and it doesntl’t have spell check yet lol.
This’ll be one of the worst AMAs after the James Corden one. Lmao. He’ll get crucified.
Edit: or maybe he’ll just edit the questions/comments of users before answering.
I’m still hoping some of the subs I frequent will migrate here. That’s my only concern, tbh. If even 90% of the subs I’m following on reddit move here, I can quit reddit altogether. I’m also concerned about nsfw content (not just porn), but reddit is killing that too.
Can’t start my own subs because, 1) I have no time, experience, nor patience to mod, and 2) idk of many of the people from those subs are already here.
Overall, though, lemmy/fediverse has been nice to me.
(don’t laugh)
I’m not laughing. I love Terraria and played Portal Knights. Minecraft (and other iterations) didn’t really appeal to me, but to each his own. Sometimes lighthearted/kids/simple games are nice to relax and relieve stress. Or just plain go crazy on them for fun.
Thanks for the D3 info. I stayed with D2 when Resurrection came out so I’m a bit clueless about 3.
The major one is a CRM application. I’m not sure but I think it’s an internal app since I’ve tried searching how to make it work on Arch but never found one.
Thanks for reminding me about the expansions! I think they are making 2 so far? I’m guessing those will be paid (specially if they’re big/major), but still hoping I’m wrong. I didn’t play D3 but did they charge for any expansions there?
I’m playing Last Epoch and sometimes PoE for my arpg fix, so I can wait.
Windows 10 on my desktop. I game and work on it, and there are applications for my job that I can’t get to work on Linux (even on Wine).
My laptop is on Linux (Endeavour OS). It’s my portable device and I don’t use it for work so Linux, imho, is my best choice. It’s pretty old as well.
That’s… pretty accurate, ngl. Lol. I’ve played POE, GD, LE, D2R and that’s 0retty much how it is. The campaign is basically a huge tutorial.
Still, it’s fun for me to try new builds. And the feeling when you get a good legendary/unique that’s perfect for you character is pretty nice. But yes, it can get tiring. I’m taking a break from arpg’s rn.
