I have frequently used tts for listening to epubs. I have, however, not noticed much battery drain… And it’s not as enjoyable as listening to an audiobook read by a narrator you like but it kind of works to a certain extent. So I wish you tts would get better.

Great example! Just read the book recently and loved it. The whole tavern conversation between the two brothers was very philosophically dense and insightful.

I want TTS made better with AI so that I won’t need huge audiobooks filling up my phone. The epubs that I already have would serve as audiobooks when needed.

I don’t really collect physical objects as such. Until a few years ago I used to collect/buy books, but for a long time I ran out of space. There are probably 600-700 books in my bookcase and another 2 small trunks filled with books. Then there are further two cabinets filled with my study books. Now that I have run out of space, I am collecting epubs and pdfs on my laptop and phone.

Had to walk to the bank in the morning. The weather is bloody humid so it was an unpleasant, sweaty experience. Got a headache later. Now feeling better.

Sometimes I have had to go outside even when it was raining. So if I am indoors and it’s raining it makes me very happy thinking that I don’t have to go out and the temperature would go down a bit.
