This smells like a job by the Intel PR recovery team. Not to mention the amount of data collected and published by game developers about the 13th and 14th gen failures over the past several weeks. There’s just no fucking way.
Well that’s cool if they want to become an ad company, but last I checked they are known for making a browser. I’m sure they’ll do so much better than Oracle in the ad business. /s
I wish Mozilla had been really clear about their intentions and end goals with this acquisition. On the face of it, it looks terrible. Especially when you look at their jettisoning of Servo.
What the hell are they up to if making a browser engine isn’t a core competency, but buying an ad company is considered a wise move?
I believe you are thinking in terms of a Turing-machine-like computer. I don’t think it’s possible today to “suspend” the bits in a quantum computer. I also don’t think it’s possible to know if the simulation could be paused (or even “added to” without losing its initial state).
I’m gonna rewrite your mom in rust
If this post speaks truth to you, you’ve either drank too much of the Kool-aid or are in your third Junior year at political re-education camp
Poster is from… hexbear. Totally adds up!

If this is the product of capitalism, I’d hate to see the “meme” for the communist countries! 😂
This right here. If I see Meta come across on someone’s resume, the first thing I wonder is what kind of personal judgement do they have to work for such a scum filled trash can on society.
I’m sure they localized all of the personal information they could possibly grab from these phones into the CCP Cloud as well! 😂
Wow, that is not what I expected Neoliberalism to mean. Thank you for the lesson. When I read about Neo-(x-political-term) I generally think of new ideas around it, not ideas reaching back to WWII. My biggest concern after reading your link is:
The term has multiple, competing definitions, and is often used pejoratively.
Also, the last few paragraphs of Current Usage emphasize it’s use as a dog whistle:
“Several writers have criticized the term “neoliberal” as an insult or slur used by leftists against liberals and varieties of liberalism that leftists disagree with.”
and
“the word is nothing more than a political slur, or a term without any analytic power”
I still think it would serve us all to be more precise about what exactly is failing us.
They were doing pretty good until they blamed everything on neoliberalism, what a fucking joke
Edit: If the wikipedia page wasn’t clear enough, the 14 definitions and comments below should show that the term “neoliberalism” is a broken dog whistle at best. You might as well go outside and yell at the clouds while you’re at it.
They do not show on either app.
i’m not saying “don’t say dude”
You literally told me to “die in a house fire” for doing this, 3 comments ago. What the fuck.
You clearly understand that it can be used casually without malice from this very comment.
I blindly called someone dude on social media and you suggested I die in a house fire. While I regret doubling down on my crusade against trolls over this, your response seems entirely disproportionate.
I’ve already explained in this thread that on the mobile client (both Memmy and Wefwef), pronouns are not displayed. After this comment, I had to log on to desktop just to see what everyone was on about.
I’m here to confirm that it was a proverbial use of “dude”, like you might see used in movies such as The Big Labowski, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Good Burger. It is pretty well established in the west that dude is used for about anyone.
I understand now that this might not be the case everywhere and I am truly sorry for any misunderstanding related to gender that I have caused here.
There was a lot of publicity a few weeks ago about “the year long cruise” that ended. I haven’t tuned in, but apparently quite a few people on the cruise vlogged their travels. There were apparent conflicts, and with both sides wanting to say their part I’m sure more misery was shared publicly than one would normally air. This might just border on reality TV though, I haven’t really looked into it.
