I may have been a child in 2007-2008 but I did felt the recession when our house had to be sold, and we could barely feed our family just because the Lehman Brothers fucked up.

Idk man… I’ve seen some truly passive aggressive comments sometimes. To the point where one could say ‘I don’t like your tone buddy’. Let’s not glorify and patronize communities one over the other.
That’s the kind of stuff that always happens when you try to make social media profitable. It’s not meant to be but they try it anyway. Now I’m not saying it should be charity work, but a self sustaining smaller community is far better than a shitposty, grifty, chatgpt-bot ridden clusterfuck.
Now if Linux gaming and programs would be seamlessly functioning I would switch in a heartbeat. It’s getting better but it is still not there yet.
