Introduced in 2017, the Google Play Security Reward Program offered up to $20,000 for discovering remote code execution bugs. However, this initiative allowed Google to collect data that is now used for automated checks, and since fewer malicious apps are being reported, this initiative will be terminated on August 31st.

    Something ironic here:

    Pixel Pass was a program that allowed users to pay a monthly charge for their Pixel phone and upgrade immediately after two years. It was almost 2 years old.

    Also some cool stuff here like Youtube Originals, Google Domains, etc.

    Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think Angular is dead? Or at least this release announcement from 3 months ago seems to suggest alive-ness: https://blog.angular.dev/angular-v18-is-now-available-e79d5ac0affe

    At this point, it seems the only safe projects at Google are Search, Youtube, Gmail, Android, Google Maps, maybe Pixel phones, and their cloud stuff, like Google One, Google Drive, and especially Google Cloud.
